Civil supervisor has to manage daily construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to strict quality and safety standards. They have to act as the primary link between project managers, engineers, contractors, and field laborers.
- On-Site Execution : Directs and coordinates workers and subcontractors to ensure work strictly follows blueprints, design specifications, and building codes.
- Safety Enforcement : Implements and monitors safety protocols (such as OSHA guidelines), conducts hazard assessments, and ensures proper use of protective equipment.
- Quality Control : Inspects completed work, ensures materials meet standards, and addresses or prevents defective construction.
- Resource Management : Manages the allocation of labor, machinery, and construction materials, ensuring supplies are available and used efficiently.
- Progress Tracking & Reporting : Tracks daily and weekly progress against milestones, updating project managers and reporting any delays or design issues.Typical Requirements
