We are seeking a passionate and dynamic PRT Mathematics Teacher to build a strong foundational understanding of numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving in primary school students (Classes I–V). The ideal candidate will transform abstract mathematical concepts into engaging, real-world experiences while fostering an inclusive and positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities1. Academic Delivery & Lesson Planning
- Design and execute interactive, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the CBSE/NEP guidelines.
- Incorporate creative teaching aids, manipulatives (e.g., blocks, shapes), and smart-board technology to make math visual and practical.
- Integrate experiential learning and activity-based methodologies to remove math anxiety.
2. Student Assessment & Progress Tracking
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Identify diverse learning speeds; provide remedial support for slow learners and extension activities for advanced students.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress report cards.
3. Classroom Management & Administration
- Maintain an organized, disciplined, and encouraging classroom culture.
- Manage day-to-day administrative duties, including attendance entry and ERP updates.
- Collaborate on school events, co-curricular initiatives, and mathematical clubs/exhibitions.
4. Communication & Collaboration
- Partner closely with parents through regular PTMs to communicate student growth and learning strategies.
- Work collaboratively with grade-level peers to implement cross-curricular activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (or a related field) with a B.Ed. from a recognized university. (CTET qualification is a major plus).
- Experience: 2–4 years of primary teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Core Competencies: * Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency with modern educational technology (Smart classes, Google Classroom, ERP systems).
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and classroom control skills.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
