Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Associate is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to guests while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. The role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining the dining area, and delivering an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating.
- Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and resolving concerns.
- Clear and reset tables according to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant, service stations, and dining areas.
- Prepare tables with cutlery, glassware, napkins, and condiments before service.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely order delivery.
- Handle guest bills accurately and process payments when required.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Adhere to hotel policies, grooming standards, and service procedures.
- Assist in inventory control and report shortages or breakages to the supervisor.
- Participate in departmental training sessions and team meetings.
- Support colleagues during busy service periods and perform additional duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate or diploma in Hotel Management is preferred.
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant is an advantage.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry trays and service equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per day
