The Gardener is responsible for maintaining the hotel’s outdoor and indoor greenery, ensuring a clean, attractive, and welcoming environment for guests. This role contributes directly to the property’s aesthetic appeal and sustainability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Landscape Maintenance – Maintain lawns, flower beds, trees, and shrubs through watering, pruning, trimming, and fertilizing.
- Plant Care – Monitor plant health, treat pests or diseases, and replace damaged plants as needed.
- Cleanliness & Upkeep – Keep garden areas, pathways, and outdoor décor neat and free from litter.
- Seasonal Decoration – Assist in setting up floral arrangements and seasonal displays for events or festivals.
- Equipment Handling – Operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely.
- Coordination – Work closely with housekeeping and engineering teams to ensure outdoor areas align with hotel standards.
- Reporting – Record daily maintenance activities and report any issues to the supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in gardening or landscaping, preferably in hospitality.
- Knowledge of plants, fertilizers, and pest control methods.
- Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Basic communication skills and teamwork orientation.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
