Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Technical Writer with 1–3 years of experience in software documentation. The ideal candidate should have experience creating clear, user-friendly, and technically accurate documentation while collaborating with development, product, and UI/UX teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain software documentation, user guides, release notes, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand documentation.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Managers, and UI/UX Designers to gather and document product information.
- Participate in product design discussions and document application workflows.
- Ensure documentation complies with organizational standards and technical writing best practices.
- Conduct technical research to gather accurate product information.
- Develop basic wireframes or prototypes using wireframing tools when required.
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, Software Documentation Specialist, or in a similar role.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong experience in creating software and product documentation.
- Understanding of technical writing principles, including single sourcing, minimalism, and topic-based writing.
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Documentation Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
- Experience with Balsamiq Cloud and MS Visio.
- Basic proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD.
- Ability to create wireframes or prototypes using wireframing tools.
- Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
