Job Title : Production Engineer (Shale & Tight)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct reliability and risk assessments for subsurface equipment and operations.
- Analyze production and performance data to improve asset reliability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geoscientists, and production teams to optimize operations.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance practices and operational processes.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance subsurface reliability and production performance.
- Monitor production systems, artificial lift technologies, and asset integrity performance.
- Support well intervention and workover strategies to improve production efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Prepare technical reports, reliability analysis, and presentations for stakeholders and management.
Requisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of shale & tight oil/gas operations and subsurface equipment.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering methodologies such as FMEA and RCA.
- Experience with data analysis and engineering tools such as MATLAB, Python, or R.
- Familiarity with reservoir simulation and production optimization techniques.
- Understanding of asset integrity, corrosion monitoring, and reliability improvement practices.
- Knowledge of artificial lift systems, well intervention, and workover operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and fast-paced environments.
