We are looking for a motivated, confident, and result-driven Business Development Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our company, responsible for driving B2B partnerships with schools, colleges, and other educational platforms. Your primary goal will be to sell our innovative educational products—including Tinkering Labs, specialized courses, and hands-on workshops—while building and nurturing long-term relationships with institutional clients. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys networking, sales conversations, and working in a fast-paced growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation & Outreach
Proactively identify, research, and generate new business opportunities with schools, colleges, universities, coaching centers, and other educational platforms.
Perform outbound activities including cold calling, warm calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and in-person visits to reach key decision-makers.
Identify and connect with principals, directors, academic heads, placement officers, HODs, and training managers.
2. Product Pitching & Sales
Present and demonstrate the value of our products—Tinkering Labs, courses, and workshops—to potential institutional partners.
Conduct product demos, presentations, and awareness sessions for school/college management, faculty, and students.
Develop and deliver customized proposals, negotiate terms, and close partnership deals to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
3. Partnership Development & Relationship Management
Convert leads into long-term institutional partners through strategic collaborations and formal agreements (e.g., MoUs).
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with institutional stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction, renewals, and upsell opportunities.
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned institutional partners.
4. Lead & Pipeline Management
Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closure, including tracking all leads, follow-ups, and activities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects, partner interactions, and sales activities in CRM tools or spreadsheets.
Regularly review and report on lead conversion metrics, pipeline health, and sales progress.
5. Market Intelligence & Coordination
Gather insights on market trends, competitor activities, and institutional needs to refine sales strategies.
Coordinate with internal product, delivery, and marketing teams to tailor offerings and ensure smooth program execution.
Represent the company at educational fairs, school/college visits, and regional marketing events.
