About the role
At Perennial, our sales team moves fast, and they need a clean, well-structured database to move faster. As our Database Generation Intern, you'll be the engine behind our lead intelligence, mining data from across the web to build and maintain a high-quality prospect database that powers our outreach. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves structure, detail, and turning raw information into actionable insight.
What you'll do
● Research and identify potential leads and companies using tools like LinkedIn, Apollo, Crunchbase, and other public databases.
● Mine, extract, and structure data on prospects, including contact details, company information, and relevant qualifiers, into our CRM or spreadsheet systems.
● Use AI-powered tools (e.g. Clay, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar) to accelerate research, enrich records, and automate repetitive data tasks.
● Clean and verify existing database records, removing duplicates, correcting outdated entries, and filling in missing information.
● Segment and categorize leads by industry, company size, geography, and other criteria to support targeted sales campaigns.
● Collaborate with the sales team to understand target ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) and continuously refine data collection accordingly.
● Track and report on database growth metrics, data quality scores, and lead generation output on a regular cadence.
What we're looking for
● Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
● High attention to detail you notice when a phone number is wrong, a name is misspelled, or a job title is six months out of date.
● Comfortable working in spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) and picking up new tools quickly — prior experience with CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus.
● A systematic, process-driven mindset allows you can build a repeatable workflow and stick to it.
● Self-starter who can work independently and manage tasks with minimal hand-holding.
● Bonus: familiarity with data enrichment tools (Apollo, Clay, Hunter.io, ZoomInfo) or basic web scraping knowledge.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
