Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests, ensuring the quality of web and API-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and API/performance testing tools like Postman and JMeter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, and other automation frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Perform API testing using Postman and automate API validations through scripting.
- Conduct performance and load testing using JMeter to ensure system scalability and stability.
- Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps engineers to ensure smooth test automation integration within the development lifecycle.
- Create, manage, and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
- Identify, log, and track software defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, and verify fixes through re-testing.
- Ensure quality standards are met across all stages of development through continuous testing and monitoring.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to advocate for testability and quality improvements.
- Research and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve QA efficiency.
