We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect / Consultant to lead large-scale data migration and storage transformation initiatives. This is a customer-facing, strategic role requiring deep expertise across storage technologies and the ability to design, position, and deliver complex solutions.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned architect with a strong blend of presales and delivery experience, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders, driving multimillion-dollar projects, and providing consultative guidance on enterprise data migration strategies.
- Design and architect end-to-end data migration solutions across block, file, and object storage environments
- Lead storage transformation initiatives from legacy systems to modern platforms
- Define migration strategies, risk assessments, and mitigation plans
- Provide technical leadership across multiple concurrent enterprise projects
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, engaging directly in face-to-face interactions
- Present migration strategies, technical roadmaps, and solution architectures to senior stakeholders, including C-level executives
- Understand customer pain points and align solutions to business outcomes
- Support both presales and delivery phases with consultative expertise
- Lead and oversee large-scale, high-value transformation programs
- Work across multiple engagements simultaneously, balancing presales and execution responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery
- Present at industry or customer-facing technical forums and conferences
- Mentor and coach internal teams, architects, and engineers
- Drive best practices in storage architecture, migration methodologies, and solution design
- 15+ years of experience in storage technologies and data migration
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Solution/Enterprise Architect
- Proven expertise in storage migration across block, file, and object storage
- Strong background working with storage vendors (any major platform)
- Experience in both presales and delivery roles
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, multi-million-dollar projects
- Strong customer-facing experience, including in-person consulting engagements
- Broad knowledge across:
- Storage systems and data migration strategies
- Networking fundamentals
- Unix/Linux environments
- Enterprise applications
- Cloud platforms and integrations
- Automation and scripting concepts
- Ability to design holistic solutions across infrastructure and application layers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
