Position Overview
We are urgently hiring an experienced Multimodal Freight Operations and Pricing Executive who is fluent in both French and English. In this fully remote role, you will manage end-to-end multimodal transport operations across ocean, air, and road freight.
You will coordinate daily with international carriers, overseas agents, warehouses, and clients, overseeing everything from initial bookings and quotations to customs documentation and final file invoicing.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-End File Management: Manage complete multimodal freight forwarding files (Sea, Air, Road) from booking initiation to final invoicing and customer delivery.
* Carrier & Agent Coordination: Coordinate directly with shipping lines, airlines, road carriers, and overseas agents to secure bookings, schedule deliveries, and track shipments.
* Transport Documentation: Issue and verify international multimodal transport documents including Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), and CMR consignment notes.
* Compliance & Customs: Ensure strict transport compliance under ADR, IMDG, and IATA regulations while verifying and transmitting required customs documents.
* Pricing, Costing & Invoicing: Check quotations against carrier costs, handle billing differences on freight charges, invoice client files accurately, and liaise with the commercial department.
* Operational Follow-Up & Claims: Track transit operations, manage cargo transfers between transport modes, and process transport-related claims or discrepancies promptly.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Language Proficiency (Mandatory): Fluent/proficient in French and English (both written and spoken).
* Experience: Minimum 4+ years of hands-on operational experience with an international freight forwarder.
* Education: Degree in Transport / Logistics or International Business.
* Industry Knowledge: Strong, practical knowledge of Incoterms® 2020, customs clearance procedures, and multimodal freight operations.
* Software Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and freight management/messaging tools.
* Key Attributes: High rigor, exceptional organizational skills, autonomy, responsiveness, and clear communication in a remote working environment.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
