Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Tandoori Chef to prepare authentic tandoori dishes while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and kitchen efficiency. The ideal candidate should have expertise in operating a tandoor oven, preparing marinades, and cooking a variety of North Indian dishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide range of tandoori dishes, including kebabs, tandoori chicken, naan, roti, and other Indian breads.
- Prepare marinades, spice blends, and sauces according to standard recipes.
- Operate and maintain the tandoor oven safely and efficiently.
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and storage in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Assist in menu planning and development of new tandoori dishes.
- Manage inventory of meats, spices, and other ingredients; report stock requirements.
- Minimize food waste and control food costs.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff when required.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation during service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Indian Tandoori Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or catering establishment.
- Strong knowledge of authentic North Indian and tandoori cuisine.
- Ability to prepare a variety of Indian breads and grilled dishes.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary certification is an advantage.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
