Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimising SAP SD modules within our organisation. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The SAP SD Consultant will also provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring seamless integration with other IT systems and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP SD system configurations and customisations.
- Implement SAP SD solutions to optimise sales and distribution processes.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP SD modules, resolving technical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SAP SD with other enterprise systems such as Oracle, AWS, and various operating systems.
- Develop detailed documentation, including user manuals and training materials using tools such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on SAP SD functionalities and best practices.
- Assist in system testing, data migration, and deployment activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies like computer networking, Linux, macOS, and help desk support.
- Support customer service initiatives by ensuring efficient order processing and delivery workflows within SAP.
Skills
- Proven experience with SAP SD module implementation and support.
- Strong technical skills in software troubleshooting across various platforms including Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments such as AWS.
- Proficiency in analysing complex data sets using analysis tools like Visio or similar programmes.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams and end-users.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or HTML is advantageous.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe Dreamweaver, Premiere Pro, Acrobat for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Google Workspace applications.
- Understanding of computer networking principles and operating systems management.
- Ability to provide technical support via help desk platforms.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in system configuration documentation.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases or similar enterprise database management systems is desirable.
