Job Description:
Arka International School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Mother Teacher / Homeroom Teacher to handle primary grade students and create a nurturing, engaging, and child-friendly classroom environment. The ideal candidate should be passionate about early childhood and primary education, capable of teaching multiple subjects, and focused on the overall development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all academic and classroom responsibilities for assigned class students.
- Teach core subjects using interactive and activity-based learning methods.
- Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and classroom activities.
- Monitor students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral progress.
- Maintain attendance, student records, and assessment reports.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Organize classroom displays, events, and student activities.
- Encourage discipline, creativity, confidence, and social skills.
- Participate actively in school programs, assemblies, and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
- B.Ed / D.Ed / Montessori or Early Childhood Education certification preferred.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with young learners.
- Prior teaching experience in primary classes preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Creativity and patience with children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple subjects for primary grades.
- Activity-based and child-centered teaching approach.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
