Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced Drupal Stability & Performance Engineer to optimize and stabilize high-traffic enterprise portals. The role focuses on Drupal backend performance tuning, API optimization, and production incident resolution in large-scale environments.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize and stabilize Drupal (8/9/10) enterprise portals
Handle high-traffic API performance and reliability issues
Improve PHP performance and backend efficiency
Work on WebAPI integrations and cURL-based services
Design and implement:
Circuit breakers
Retry / backoff mechanisms
Request coalescing
API caching strategies
Load balancing techniques
Manage session handling and authentication flows
Collaborate with frontend, backend, and API teams
Resolve production incidents (SEV1/SEV2)
Improve system observability using logs, APM, and tracing tools
Mandatory Skills
Drupal 8/9/10 backend development (strong expertise)
PHP performance tuning
WebAPI / cURL integration experience
JavaScript frontend frameworks (Sencha / ExtJS or similar)
Advanced Expertise (Critical)
API traffic optimization & throttling
Session management & authentication flows
Frontend–backend interaction architecture
High-traffic system stabilization techniques
Nice to Have
Enterprise-scale portal experience
Production incident management (SEV1/SEV2)
Observability tools (APM, logging, tracing systems)
Key Requirements
12+ years overall IT experience
Minimum 4+ years in Drupal enterprise systems
Strong experience in performance tuning & stability engineering
Experience handling high API traffic environments is mandatory
Ability to work in incident-driven environments
Pay: ₹473,626.18 - ₹2,300,000.00 per year
