About Glory Shipmanagement
Glory Shipmanagement is looking for an experienced and driven Finance Controller to oversee the company’s financial operations, accounting, budgeting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and multi-currency transactions.
- Manage maritime-specific accounting, including vessel operating expenses, port disbursements, crew payroll, bunker costs, maintenance expenses, and Principal/Owner accounts.
- Prepare budgets, financial forecasts, variance analyses, and regular financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, MCA filings, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits and ensure timely compliance.
- Lead the finance and accounts team while maintaining strong internal controls and financial governance.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 8–12 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3–5 years in the shipping, maritime, logistics, or related industry.
- Qualified CA, MBA in Finance, or CMA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of maritime accounting, disbursement accounting, multi-currency transactions, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Tally Prime, SAP, or relevant accounting/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Candidates residing in or around Vashi / Navi Mumbai, or within a convenient distance from our office, will be preferred.
