Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in production support engagement, system reliability, and monitoring & alerting. The role requires close collaboration with Production Support teams to ensure high availability, performance, and stability of critical systems, while proactively identifying and mitigating operational risks.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Act as a primary interface between Engineering and Production Support, ensuring seamless incident handling and issue resolution.
Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions to proactively detect system issues.
Leverage tools such as Splunk, Tableau, and ServiceNow for log analysis, dashboards, alerts, incident tracking, and reporting.
Drive incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs in partnership with product and support teams.
Continuously improve system reliability, availability, and performance through automation and operational best practices.
Support production releases and changes with a focus on stability and risk mitigation.
Identify recurring issues and work with engineering teams to reduce operational toil.
Ensure adherence to operational standards, escalation processes, and compliance requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must have
5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Production Support, or a related DevOps/SRE role.
Strong experience working closely with Production Support teams and managing operational escalations.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools, including: Splunk (log analysis, alerts, dashboards) Tableau (operational dashboards and insights) ServiceNow (incident, problem, and change management)
Solid understanding of incident management, RCA, and operational metrics.
Experience supporting production environments with high availability and performance requirements.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Good to Have
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Shell, etc.).
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure monitoring.
Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise environments.
