About the Role:
Join SYVO’s dynamic Finance Team and play a vital role in driving the company’s financial efficiency and growth. As a Finance Executive, you will manage end-to-end financial operations including accounting, expense tracking, vendor payments, and financial reporting. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and innovative environment where you’ll contribute directly to SYVO’s financial stability, compliance, and strategic decision-making. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, support monthly closings, assist in budgeting, and ensure accurate record-keeping. Collaborating with internal teams, you’ll streamline financial processes, monitor expenditures, and maintain timely coordination with departments for smooth operations. This role is ideal for detail-driven professionals eager to learn, grow, and make an impact in a rapidly scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Record and maintain all financial transactions accurately in Tally ERP and other accounting systems.
- Ensure correctness of ledgers, journal entries, and supporting documents.
- Maintain proper documentation for all financial records in compliance with company SOPs.
Billing & Invoicing
- Prepare and maintain bills, invoices, and receipts on a timely basis.
- Verify and reconcile billing details with internal teams to ensure accuracy.
Bank & Reconciliation
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all financial entries are updated and accurate.
- Carry out sales and purchase reconciliations with customers and vendors.
- Identify and resolve any discrepancies in financial records promptly.
Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
- Track and manage accounts receivable and payable entries, ensuring timely collections and payments.
- Maintain and monitor petty cash transactions and balances.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and maintain Excel-based financial reports, including MIS statements, reconciliation sheets, and expense summaries.
- Support management with data-driven insights for financial planning and decision-making.
Audit & Compliance Support
- Assist in monthly closings, internal and statutory audits, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements as per government norms.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely submission of records.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance or Accounting, or MBA Fresher or Postgraduate qualification in Finance is preferred.
Core Skills:
- Min. six(6) months of experience in accounting, finance operations, or bookkeeping preferred.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data management).
- Understanding of bank reconciliation, sales & purchase reconciliation, and billing processes.
- Detail-oriented with strong numerical accuracy and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while seeking guidance when necessary.
- Adaptable to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance work environment.
