We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and impact-driven Head – Social Work & Research to lead and strengthen Soulfree’s social work function.
The role will integrate beneficiary management, data governance, outreach, CRM, documentation, research, team leadership and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities along with the ability to use systems, data and research to improve programme effectiveness and demonstrate measurable social impact.
Key Responsibilities Beneficiary Management & Data Governance
- Manage the complete beneficiary lifecycle and ensure compliance with organisational processes.
- Maintain high standards of beneficiary data accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
- Establish systems for data monitoring, verification and audits.
- Strengthen documentation and data governance practices.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop dashboards, KPIs and periodic impact reports.
- Analyse programme and beneficiary data to generate meaningful insights.
- Prepare assessments and management reports to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Track social impact and identify opportunities for improvement.
CRM & Systems Management
- Administer and strengthen the organisation’s Zoho CRM system.
- Develop and automate workflows wherever appropriate.
- Ensure effective utilisation of CRM and digital systems across teams.
- Drive digital adoption and improve process efficiency.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead and mentor a team of 5–7 Social Work professionals.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, performance expectations and development goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning and continuous improvement.
- Support professional growth and performance of the Social Work team.
Documentation & Research
- Develop high-quality reports, case studies, programme documentation and knowledge resources.
- Lead research initiatives relevant to rehabilitation, disability, inclusion and social impact.
- Identify and promote innovative approaches and best practices.
- Convert field-level learning and beneficiary experiences into actionable knowledge.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with internal teams and organisational leadership.
- Build strong working relationships with external partners, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across functions.
- Represent Soulfree professionally in relevant meetings, programmes and stakeholder engagements.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work or a relevant discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Social Sector Operations, preferably with substantial experience in programme or team leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams and social-sector programmes.
- Strong understanding of CRM, data management and digital systems.
- Experience in reporting, documentation, research and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% as required.
