Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Testing Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in testing web and mobile applications. As part of our QA team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, usability, and performance of our software products. You should have a strong background in both manual and automated testing, along with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to understand project requirements and define test strategies for web and mobile applications.

Manual Testing: Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing on web and mobile apps to identify defects and ensure feature quality.

Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test cases using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Bug Tracking & Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.

Performance & Usability Testing: Conduct performance and usability testing to ensure applications meet high standards of speed, responsiveness, and user experience.

Cross-Browser & Cross-Device Testing: Test across different browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in retrospectives and contribute to improving QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements:

Experience: 3-6 years of hands-on experience in web and mobile application testing.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in manual testing for both web and mobile platforms.

Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or equivalent.

Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail).

Strong understanding of testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and SDLC.

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation is a plus.

Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests in the pipeline is a bonus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a plus.
