We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Admission Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, addressing inquiries, and helping them make informed decisions regarding educational programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admission procedures, eligibility criteria, and program benefits.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and inquiries from potential applicants.
- Follow up with leads and maintain regular communication throughout the admission process.
- Assist students in completing application and enrollment formalities.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and admission activities.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Achieve assigned admission and enrollment targets.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with students and parents.
- Update CRM and other admission-related databases regularly.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months to 3 years of experience in Admission Counseling, Academic Counseling, Student Counseling, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to handle multiple inquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Positive attitude and result-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the Education, EdTech, Training, or Academic sector will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
