Job Summary
Nivera Child Development Centre is looking for a reliable and hardworking Cook cum Housekeeper to manage daily cooking and maintain cleanliness of the premises. The ideal candidate should be organized, hygienic, and able to work independently while ensuring a clean and comfortable environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCooking
- Prepare healthy and hygienic breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner.
- Plan meals based on the daily menu.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Ensure proper storage of food and kitchen supplies.
- Monitor grocery stock and inform management of replenishment needs.
Housekeeping
- Clean and maintain rooms, kitchen, dining area, and common spaces.
- Wash utensils and keep kitchen equipment clean.
- Laundry and linen management (if required).
- Dispose of waste properly and maintain sanitation standards.
- Ensure a neat, organized, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook and/or housekeeper is preferred.
- Knowledge of South Indian home-style cooking.
- Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
- Honest, punctual, and responsible.
- Physically fit and willing to perform housekeeping duties.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
