We are looking for a passionate React Native Developer who wants to work closely with the founding team and take ownership of the mobile application from an early stage. This is a hybrid role ideal for someone who enjoys startup culture, fast execution, and solving real-world product challenges.
Role Overview
As a React Native Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our cross-platform mobile application for Android and iOS. You will collaborate directly with founders, backend engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to create a seamless learning experience.
This role requires strong React Native fundamentals, product thinking, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality React Native applications for Android and iOS
- Build scalable, reusable, and maintainable mobile components
- Integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, and third-party SDKs
- Work closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability
- Implement authentication, session management, and secure storage
- Handle app releases, CI/CD pipelines, and Play Store/App Store deployments
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code
- Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
- Debug production issues and improve app reliability
- Continuously explore new technologies relevant to e-learning and mobile engagement.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Good understanding of React Hooks, Context API, and state management
- Experience with Redux / Zustand / React Query or similar libraries
- Experience integrating REST APIs and handling async data flows
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles
- Knowledge of Android and iOS build/release processes
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Familiarity with push notifications and deep linking
- Experience with app performance optimization and debugging
Good to Have
- Experience in e-learning, EdTech, SaaS, or service-based platforms
- Experience with video streaming, live classes, or WebRTC integrations
- Familiarity with Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, FCM)
- Experience with offline-first architecture and local caching
- Knowledge of payment gateway integrations
- Experience with Socket.io or real-time communication systems
- Familiarity with Expo and native module integrations
- Understanding of analytics and user engagement tracking
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies like Node.js or NestJS
- Experience working in startups or fast-paced environments
