Key Responsibilities1. Material Receipt & Inward Operations
- Verify incoming Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM) against Delivery Challans, Invoices, Purchase Orders, and COA (Certificate of Analysis).
- Perform initial physical inspection for container integrity, sealing, and damage.
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and put-away slips in SAP/ERP systems.
- Ensure proper quarantine labeling and coordinate with Quality Control (QC) for sampling.
2. Storage & Inventory Management
- Allocate storage locations based on material hazard levels, safety protocols, and storage conditions (e.g., temperature-controlled rooms, explosive yards).
- Maintain strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry, First-Out) inventory principles.
- Ensure clear status labeling (Quarantined, Approved, Rejected) on all material containers.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation. [1]
3. Dispensing & Issuance
- Set up and maintain the RM dispensing area under controlled environmental conditions (ISO class/Reverse Laminar Airflow).
- Dispense raw materials accurately as per Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and production schedules.
- Coordinate the issuance of packaging materials according to Batch Packing Records (BPR).
- Handle the safe return and weight verification of leftover/unused materials from production.
4. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date logbooks, cleaning records, temperature/humidity charts, and equipment calibration logs.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations and ensure strict compliance.
- Ensure audit readiness for regulatory inspections (USFDA, MHRA, WHO, local FDA).
- Participate in handling deviations, change controls, and CAPA related to warehouse operations.
5. Safety & Environment
- Follow all safety protocols, including the correct handling of hazardous chemicals and solvents using appropriate PPE.
- Ensure availability and understanding of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all stored items.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and sanitation standards within the warehouse facility.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
