AS Group is looking for an experienced and skilled Car Mechanic to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate should have approximately 10 years of hands-on experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both petrol and diesel passenger vehicles across multiple brands. We are looking for someone with strong technical expertise, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues in petrol and diesel vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance including servicing, oil changes, brake repairs, suspension work, clutch replacements, and engine overhauls.
- Identify faults using diagnostic tools and manual inspection techniques.
- Troubleshoot complex vehicle issues and provide effective, long-lasting solutions.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly and recommend necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure all repairs are completed accurately and within the committed timeline.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and workshop safety.
- Test-drive vehicles when required to verify repairs and identify issues.
- Work collaboratively with the service advisor and workshop team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a car mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of petrol and diesel engine systems.
- Experience working on multi-brand vehicles is highly preferred.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with modern automotive diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Ability to independently handle complex repairs with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driving license is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
- Experience with engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, and AC systems.
- Ability to mentor junior mechanics and trainees.
- Customer-focused attitude with a professional work ethic.
Pay: ₹1,000.00 - ₹1,200.00 per day
