Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer

Role Description
The Azure Cloud & DevOps Engineer supports enterprise cloud infrastructure operations, automation, and remediation activities across Azure and GCP environments. The role focuses on operational support, infrastructure provisioning, CI/CD support, cloud security remediation, and automation within enterprise cloud platforms.
The engineer will work closely with senior cloud engineers, DevOps teams, and production support teams to maintain secure and reliable cloud environments.
Cloud Environment & Platform Scope
- Microsoft Azure (primary platform)
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred
- Enterprise development, staging, and production cloud environments
- Cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise workloads
Key Responsibilities
- Support remediation of cloud vulnerabilities and infrastructure issues
- Assist in maintaining secure cloud infrastructure environments
- Work with Terraform-based infrastructure deployments
- Support Azure DevOps CI/CD and automation workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cloud engineering and production support teams
- Participate in operational support and incident response activities
- Support implementation of security and compliance controls
Infrastructure & Automation
- Hands-on support for Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Support CI/CD and deployment automation workflows
- Develop basic automation scripts using Python
- Assist with Azure cloud configuration management and deployments
Security & Operations
- Support vulnerability remediation and exposure reduction activities
- Work with cloud security and monitoring tools
- Assist in resolving:
? VM vulnerabilities
? Misconfigurations
? Storage security issues
? IAM-related issues
- Support operational governance and cloud security initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Basic to intermediate exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Understanding of cloud security and operational best practices
- Basic knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Basic Python scripting knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting and learning mindset
- Experience supporting enterprise applications or infrastructure
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to enterprise production support environments
- Familiarity with vulnerability management concepts
- Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Exposure to cloud compliance and governance standards
Experience working with cross-functional infrastructure teams
