Introduction
We are seeking an Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. The role will be responsible for process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive efficient production operations. The candidate will oversee project management activities, engineering change implementation, and new product introductions, along with standardizing manufacturing processes to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Designing and implementing new manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and resolve production challenges.
Developing and implementing lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and optimize operations.
Analyzing production data to improve workflow efficiency and overall plant performance.
Driving productivity improvement initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness and cost efficiency.
What you’ll do
Design and develop tools, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment for new product introductions (NPI), ensuring successful trials, validation, and implementation.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with Product Design and Product Management teams to support new product introductions and manufacturing readiness.
Lead Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation through regular coordination with cross-functional teams.
Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Work Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and PFMEA.
Manage product routings and Bill of Materials (BOM) updates in SAP.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process studies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
Provide technical support to production and assembly teams, resolving day-to-day manufacturing issues.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and promote a safe and productive work environment.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3– 6 years of relevant experience in the heavy engineering industry.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs, welding, GD&T and raw material specifications.
Working experience in AutoCAD, UG-NX/Inventor and SAP-PP.
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like lean manufacturing, PFMEA and work study.
Preferred experience in heavy engineering industry.
Good track record of achieving business objectives and driving operational improvements
Self-motivated individual with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
