Job Description: The English Language Teacher would be responsible for guiding students in Middle school (Grades 6-8) towards academic excellence and helping them develop a deep appreciation for the English language. The ideal candidate should be able to inspire students, making learning engaging and enjoyable, while fostering a love for reading, writing, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured lessons that encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a love for English.
- Use innovative teaching methods and classroom activities to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Prepare lesson plans that align with the school's liberal educational philosophy, focusing on student-centered learning.
- Provide regular feedback to students on their progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports student growth in both academics and character.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development sessions as required.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the school management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: BA degree in English and B.Ed. (Mandatory)
Work Experience: 2 to 4 years
Skills:
- Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
- Ability to create lesson plans that are engaging, relevant, and tailored to diverse learning needs.
