Job Summary
E Care Infoway LLP is looking for a skilled Backend Developer with hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, OOPS, MySQL, and WordPress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. Knowledge of the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel Framework.
- Design, develop, and optimize MySQL databases and write efficient SQL queries.
- Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles to build scalable and maintainable applications.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.
- Customize, maintain, and troubleshoot WordPress themes and plugins.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
- Optimize application performance, security, and database efficiency.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest backend development technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS).
- Experience with MySQL, including database design, joins, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress development, including theme and plugin customization.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) is preferred and will be an added advantage.
- Experience with Git/GitHub or other version control systems.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
