Role Overview
At VGP Heritage, the Banquet Sales Executive is responsible for driving banquet and event sales, building strong client relationships, and ensuring successful coordination of social, corporate, and special events held at our venues. This role requires a strong sales mindset, hospitality skills, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business for banquet halls, lawns, and event venues at VGP Heritage.
- Handle inquiries for weddings, conferences, exhibitions, and private functions.
- Meet and exceed monthly banquet sales targets.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and close sales deals.
- Liaise with banquet operations, F&B, and support teams for seamless event execution.
- Build long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat and referral business.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and revenue reports.
- Monitor competitor activities and contribute to pricing/marketing strategies.
- Ensure client satisfaction and resolve any issues efficiently.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong sales and customer service orientation.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple event requirements.
- Knowledge of event packages, F&B arrangements, and banquet operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in Hospitality Management / Business Administration or equivalent.
- 1–3 years’ experience in banquet or event sales, preferably in hospitality/venue management.
Performance Indicators
- Monthly banquet sales revenue achieved.
- Number of new client accounts developed.
- Client satisfaction & repeat business rate.
- Successful execution of booked events.
