Job Summary
We are seeking a professional, courteous, and highly organized Receptionist to join our Ayurveda Hospital. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working exclusively in an Ayurveda Hospital. Applications from candidates with experience in other industries or hospitals (allopathy, dental, clinics, hotels, etc.) will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and visitors with a warm and professional approach.
- Manage OPD appointments, registrations, and patient scheduling.
- Handle incoming phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, emails, and walk-in patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Coordinate appointments with Ayurveda doctors, therapists, and other departments.
- Handle billing, payment collection, receipts, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Guide patients regarding Ayurveda treatments, Panchakarma therapies, and hospital procedures.
- Maintain daily patient reports and front office documentation.
- Ensure smooth patient flow from registration to consultation.
- Maintain cleanliness and professionalism at the reception area.
- Coordinate with pharmacy, therapy, laboratory, and accounts departments when required.
- Resolve patient queries and complaints politely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of Receptionist/Front Office experience in an Ayurveda Hospital is Mandatory.
- Experience in OPD/IPD patient handling.
- Knowledge of hospital management software and MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English. Hindi is an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Ayurveda treatments and Panchakarma procedures.
- Patient counseling and appointment coordination.
- Billing and cash handling experience.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. These are commonly sought in healthcare receptionist roles.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
