About the Role
P99soft is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Jr. Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and bookkeeping. This role requires strong knowledge of Zoho Books, GST compliance, monthly book closure activities, and payroll-related statutory filings.
The candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping activities using Zoho Books.
- Perform monthly book closure activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Handle GST reconciliation and ensure timely filing of GST returns.
- Support statutory compliance activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing processes.
- Manage PF and ESI filings and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Prepare financial reports, MIS reports, and accounting documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders when required.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Must have hands on experience with Zoho Books .
- Strong understanding of monthly book closure processes.
- Experience in GST reconciliation and GST return filing.
- Knowledge of PF & ESI filings.
- Understanding of TDS and TDS return filing is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
