Job Title:
Yarn & Fabric Sourcing Executive (Woven – Bed Linen)
Job Purpose:
To ensure timely sourcing of woven yarn and fabric for bed linen production with correct quality, price, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source cotton yarn (warp & weft) and woven fabrics for bed linen
- Coordinate with spinning mills, weaving units, and processing units
- Get quotations and finalize price based on budget
- Ensure yarn count, strength, CSP, and quality as per requirement
- Follow up for yarn dispatch and fabric delivery
- Plan materials based on production and order requirement
- Monitor stock (yarn & fabric) to avoid shortage/excess
- Check fabric specs (GSM, width, construction, shrinkage)
- Handle quality issues with suppliers
- Maintain purchase and supplier records
Skills Required:
- Basic knowledge of woven fabrics & bed linen products
- Understanding of yarn counts (Ne), construction (TC), GSM
- Good supplier handling & negotiation skills
- Basic Excel knowledge
Qualification:
- Diploma / Degree in Textile or Other
- 2–5 years’ experience in woven sourcing / home textile
KPI (Performance):
- On-time yarn & fabric availability
- Cost control
- Quality approval rate
- Minimum production delay
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
