Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic Diploma graduates to join our team as Trainee CNC Operators. Freshers with a strong interest in CNC machining are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and prepare CNC/VMC machines for operation by installing and aligning tooling, fixtures, and workpieces.
- Load CNC programs into the Machine Control Unit (MCU) and modify settings when required.
- Operate CNC/VMC machines for drilling, milling, turning, and tapping operations.
- Monitor machine performance and identify deviations or operational issues.
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments.
- Adjust machine parameters to maintain quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and tooling replacement.
- Troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions, tooling issues, and programming errors.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities and quality observations.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to achieve production targets.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining operations.
- Understanding of G-Code and M-Code.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machine setup and operation.
- Familiarity with tooling types, inserts, offsets, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to quality and workplace safety.
