Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Marketing Manager to lead our scrap business operations.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in the scrap trading, recycling, or metal industry and a strong understanding of market dynamics, procurement, and sales strategies.
An MBA qualification is required, with expertise in domestic and international scrap markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to expand the scrap business.
- Identify and acquire new clients in metal, steel, and recycling industries.
- Manage relationships with scrap suppliers, buyers, and processing units.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and demand-supply dynamics to maximize profitability.
- Handle negotiations, contracts, and pricing strategies with suppliers and buyers.
- Explore opportunities for export and import of scrap materials.
- Work closely with the procurement, logistics, and finance teams to streamline operations.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry networking events.
- Develop and execute digital marketing and branding strategies to enhance market presence.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: MBA in Marketing, International Business, or related field.
- Experience: 1-5 years in scrap business, metal recycling, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of scrap procurement, sales, and market pricing strategies.
- Knowledge of scrap quality assessment, supply chain, and trading regulations.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and market research platforms.
- Ability to travel for business development and client meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ferrous and non-ferrous scrap trading.
- Strong network with scrap yards, foundries, steel mills, and recycling plants.
- Understanding of global scrap trade policies and export-import regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
