Structural Engineer – Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer with 3–5 years of expertise in structural design and analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing safe, functional, and cost-effective structures that meet project requirements throughout their intended lifespan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for RCC, steel, and composite structures
- Design structural elements including foundations, beams, columns, slabs, retaining walls, and other components
- Make detailed calculations related to loads, stresses, and structural stability
- Ensure structural safety under various load conditions such as dead load, live load, wind load, and seismic load
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, and documentation
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant IS Codes and applicable standards
- Coordinate with drafting teams for preparation of detailed construction drawings
- Review and optimize designs for safety, economy, and functionality
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- M.Tech in Structural Engineering or related field
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
- Proficiency in ETABS, STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of IS Codes and structural design standards
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
