Position / Role Title

Mid-Cap Equity Research Analyst

This role reports to the Head of Research / Senior Analyst for the industry

Job description

Candidate shall be responsible for:

The person will be responsible for conducting channel checks and collecting insights from the market on what is happening on ground with respect to sales in companies.

These insights will then be required to translate into numbers and put into financial models to understand how this is likely to affect margins and valuations of companies.

Person should be passionate about Indian stock market, moreover person will be assisting Senior Analyst in new stock initiations and generating new stock ideas. We publish reports exclusively for institutional investors.
Creating, maintaining, and updating data in financial models, and creating tables and graphs that clearly illustrate the information
Perform complex financial modeling & valuation work.
Develop databases integral to our research product.
Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment.
Work with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themes.
Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies.
Participate and contribute to client meetings and events.

Requirement Specification

(Qualifications & Experience)

MBA from a reputed institute
Somebody with a decent understanding of valuable techniques and financial modelling
4 – 7 years of experience
Strong Fundamentals and sound technical knowledge in financial domain
Good report writing Skills
Fluent communication skills
