Job Overview:
We are looking for a Junior IT Engineer (Hardware) to provide on-site technical support across different locations in Delhi/NCR. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, basic networking issues, and ensuring smooth functioning of IT systems. The candidate should be comfortable with frequent travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues (CPU, RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, etc.)
- Provide support for basic networking issues (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches)
- Handle OS installation, formatting, and driver setup (Windows primarily)
- Attend service calls at client locations within Delhi/NCR
- Maintain and update service reports and logs
- Coordinate with internal teams for issue resolution and escalation
- Ensure timely closure of support tickets
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and components
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN, IP configuration)
- Familiarity with tools like cable testers, crimping tools, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
- Good customer-handling skills
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows)
Qualifications:
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in hardware or field support Mandatory Requirements
- Must own a two-wheeler (for local travel)
- Must have a valid driving license
- Should be willing to travel across Delhi/NCR
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
