We are looking for a specialized Tender Handling Specialist with deep domain knowledge in the Electrical and Power sector.You will be responsible for navigating the complex tender landscape of Jharkhand’s power utilities (JBVNL/JUSNL) and private industrial clients.Your focus will be to secure high-value contracts for our electrical infrastructure, turnkey power projects, and equipment supply bids.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sector-Specific Bid Identification
Actively track power sector tenders via state-level portals (e.g., JBVNL, JUSNL, Jharkhand Urja Sancharan Nigam) and national power utilities (NTPC, DVC, etc.).
Identify high-potential opportunities in areas such as:
- Distribution/Transmission: Substation construction, HT/LT line laying, and electrical infrastructure.
- Renewable Energy: Solar PV installations and rooftop projects.
- Industrial Electrification: Panel board supply, industrial wiring, and automation.
2. Technical Proposal Engineering
Analyze complex Bill of Quantities (BOQ), electrical drawings, and technical specifications provided in RFPs.
Collaborate with our Electrical Engineers to ensure the proposed solutions meet stringent industry standards (BIS, IEC, IEEE).
Prepare detailed technical compliance statements, highlighting our capacity for safety, energy efficiency, and project delivery timelines.
3. Commercial & Regulatory Compliance
Understand complex power-sector commercial terms, including Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), Bank Guarantees, Performance Security, and Liquidated Damages (LD) clauses.
Manage GeM portal specifically for electrical equipment procurement.
Ensure all vendor registrations (Empanelment) with major power utilities and PSUs in Jharkhand are active and updated.
Specialized RequirementsIndustry Knowledge:
Proven ability to read and interpret electrical engineering drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), and equipment data sheets.
Regulatory Familiarity: Knowledge of electrical safety codes, regulatory norms for power projects in Jharkhand, and Central Electricity Authority (CEA) guidelines.
Vendor Management: Experience in coordinating with OEM suppliers to obtain competitive quotes for electrical components (transformers, cables, switchgear) to build aggressive financial bids.
Qualification AdjustmentsEducation: Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is highly preferred .
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
