Main Duties & Responsibilities Cleaning & Hygiene
- Wash dishes, plates, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
- Clean kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, grills, refrigerators).
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and work areas.
- Follow proper sanitation and hygiene standards (food safety rules).
Kitchen Support
- Help chefs with basic preparation (washing vegetables, peeling, cutting).
- Dispose of garbage and manage waste segregation.
- Refill cleaning supplies and ensure stock availability.
- Keep storage areas and shelves neat and organized.
Restaurant Support
- Polish cutlery and glassware before service.
- Arrange buffet equipment and banquet utensils.
- Assist during busy hours by clearing used plates quickly.
- Support banquet functions and events setup.
Safety & Maintenance
- Follow hotel safety and fire procedures.
- Report broken equipment or maintenance issues.
- Ensure chemicals and cleaning products are used safely.
Skills Required
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and willingness to help kitchen staff.
- Physical stamina (standing long hours, lifting utensils).
- Discipline and punctuality.
Work Conditions
- Shift work (morning / evening / night).
- Work on weekends and holidays.
- Standing for long periods in hot kitchen environment.
Qualification
- Usually Diplomo is enough.
- Hotel management diploma is a bonus but not required.
- Freshers can apply.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
