We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with 4–5 years of experience in ISBM (Injection Stretch Blow Molding) machine maintenance. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ISBM machines and associated production equipment to achieve maximum uptime and production efficiency.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of ISBM machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime through effective troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and productivity.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and equipment upgrades when required.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify potential equipment failures.
- Ensure timely replacement of worn-out components and critical spare parts.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and service reports.
- Attend machine breakdowns promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment issues.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize production losses due to equipment failure.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, maintenance SOPs, and company policies.
- Maintain a safe working environment during maintenance activities.
- Participate in safety audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain daily maintenance logs and equipment history records.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and raise purchase requirements when necessary.
- Prepare maintenance reports and share updates with the Maintenance Manager.
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in machine maintenance within plastics, packaging, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.
- Hands-on experience with ISBM, Injection Molding, Blow Molding, or similar production machinery.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and maintenance practices.
