looking for an experienced Production Engineer – FRP to manage and optimize the manufacturing of Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) components. The role involves planning, supervising production activities, ensuring product quality, improving productivity, minimizing wastage, and maintaining safety standards while meeting production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day FRP production activities to achieve production targets.
- Plan and monitor manpower, machines, and material utilization.
- Ensure manufacturing as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Handle FRP processes including hand lay-up, spray-up, vacuum bagging, RTM (preferred), trimming, finishing, and assembly.
- Monitor resin, catalyst, gel coat, fiberglass mat, woven roving, and other raw material consumption.
- Ensure proper curing parameters and dimensional accuracy of FRP products.
- Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Stores, and Design teams for smooth production.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Reduce production rejection, rework, and material wastage.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and proper utilization of molds, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain production reports, shift reports, and daily MIS.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of FRP manufacturing processes.
- Experience with hand lay-up, spray-up, vacuum infusion, RTM, and gel coating.
- Understanding of composite materials and curing techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Production planning and manpower management.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Good communication and team management ski
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
