Job Summary
Apple Hospital, a 200-bedded NABH Accredited Multi-Speciality Hospital in Indore, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and quality patient care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, maintaining clinical standards, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day nursing operations across assigned departments.
- Ensure safe, efficient, and quality patient care.
- Monitor nursing staff attendance, deployment, and shift responsibilities.
- Coordinate and supervise nursing staff during all shifts.
- Monitor nursing procedures, medication administration, and clinical practices.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Conduct regular rounds and monitor nursing care and documentation.
- Guide, mentor, and support nursing staff in their day-to-day responsibilities.
- Coordinate with doctors, Nursing Administration, and other departments for smooth patient care.
- Ensure proper maintenance of nursing records, registers, and documentation.
- Support NABH compliance, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and nursing training programs.
- Identify training needs and ensure competency development of nursing staff.
- Address and report patient care-related issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate authority.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM
- Valid State Nursing Council Registration.
Experience
- 4–7 years of nursing experience.
- Prior experience as a Nursing Supervisor / Senior Staff Nurse will be preferred.
- Experience in a NABH-accredited hospital will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong nursing knowledge and supervisory skills.
- Good leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of NABH standards, infection control, and patient safety practices.
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work effectively under pressure.
