Department: New Product Development (NPD)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering
Key Responsibilities -
- Handle new product development and manufacturing processes from concept to production.
- Study customer drawings, specifications, BOM, process requirements and feasibility.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, process flow, routing and work instructions.
- Coordinate with Design, Quality, Production, Tool Room, PPC and Purchase teams for NPD activities.
- Prepare and maintain APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, Process Flow, Work Instructions and PPAP documents.
- Conduct process trials, prototype development and validation for new products.
- Support tool, fixture, gauge and machine selection/development for new projects.
- Identify process risks and implement Poka-Yoke, cycle time improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor trial production, resolve process issues and ensure smooth SOP/production handover.
- Coordinate with suppliers for tooling, components and development activities.
- Maintain NPD project timelines, development records and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC/HMC, stamping, machining and assembly processes will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan and MSA.
- Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/SAP.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
