Key Responsibilities:

Study of reference drawings and get familiarized quickly with the equipment.

Prepare and self-check basic and detailed drawings for equipment as guided by the reporting Supervisor/Engineer.

Develop sub-assembly and assembly drawings based on basic engineering drawings, related data or inputs from the supervisor.

Prepare Bill of Material (BOM).

Review and modify drawings to incorporate manufacturing parameters as required.
-
Prepare and self-check onboard equipment piping drawings.
-
Obtain approval from the checker and submit drawings to the Supervisor/Engineer.
Skills and Experience Required:

Diploma / ITI / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience range: 3 to 5 years.

Experience in equipment engineering for heavy machinery.
-
Hands-on experience with CREO and AutoCAD is mandatory.
-
Familiarity with various national and international standards.

Knowledge of welding and machining symbols.
-
Understanding of assembly processes.
-
Knowledge of fits, tolerances, geometric tolerances and dimensioning.

Ability to effectively communicate and report technical issues to the reporting engineer/manager.
-
Exposure to steel plant or non-ferrous metal plant will be an added advantage.
