About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our multi cuisine restaurant team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have strong kitchen operations experience, leadership skills, and the ability to maintain high food quality and hygiene standards across multiple cuisines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
- Prepare and supervise multi cuisine food production
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate shifts efficiently
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Monitor inventory, stock levels, and kitchen supplies
- Reduce wastage and ensure cost-effective kitchen practices
- Support menu planning and recipe standardization
- Handle pressure during peak service hours while maintaining quality
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a multi cuisine restaurant
- Knowledge of Indian, Continental, Chinese, and fast-casual kitchen operations preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends and rotational shifts
Preferred Skills
- Experience in high-volume restaurant operations
- Basic inventory and food cost management knowledge
