Roles and Responsibilities of a Classical Dancer
- Perform classical dance forms with proper technique, expression, rhythm, and discipline.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of dance theory, traditions, and cultural significance.
- Participate in rehearsals regularly and maintain performance readiness.
- Learn, practice, and memorize choreography accurately.
- Maintain proper posture, fitness, flexibility, and stamina required for dance performances.
- Guide and train students (if in a teaching role) in dance movements, expressions, and stage presentation.
- Prepare students for school events, competitions, cultural programs, and performances.
- Coordinate with teachers, event teams, and management for cultural activities.
- Ensure costumes, props, and music are organized before performances.
- Encourage discipline, teamwork, and confidence among students.
- Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and performance assessments.
- Stay updated with new techniques and developments while preserving traditional dance values.
- Follow organizational policies and uphold professional conduct.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
