We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant Executive to manage the company's accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain statutory compliance, and support financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and experience with accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts and ledger balances.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, VAT, income tax, or other statutory compliance (as applicable).
- Prepare and file tax returns and assist with audits.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Process payroll and ensure accurate salary disbursement.
- Review accounting records for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to management.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com).
- 2+years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
