Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Olive elder care. The role involves providing emotional support, therapeutic interventions, and guidance to individuals dealing with psychological, emotional, and behavioral challenges. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of counselling experience and a strong commitment to ethical practice, empathy, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to clients
- Use evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support emotional and behavioral well-being
- Maintain confidential and accurate records of sessions and progress reports
- Participate in regular supervision and peer discussions
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and rehabilitation staff
- Conduct awareness or psychoeducation sessions when required
Requirements:
- Master’s in Counselling Psychology (or equivalent degree in Psychology with counselling specialization)
- Minimum 1 year of counselling experience (internship or supervised practice included)
- Strong listening, communication, and empathy skills
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Commitment to ethical and client-centered practices
- Openness to learning within a rehabilitation and multidisciplinary environment
