We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Chemist (Testing Personnel) to support laboratory testing activities, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain quality and safety standards within the laboratory environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Testing & Analysis
- Conduct testing and analysis as per approved methods, procedures, and SOPs.
- Perform routine laboratory testing and record observations accurately.
- Prepare and maintain test data sheets and related documentation.
Documentation & Reporting
- Ensure proper recording of test results and laboratory observations.
- Maintain laboratory records and reports systematically.
- Report equipment issues, abnormalities, or deviations promptly to supervisors.
Laboratory Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness, housekeeping, and proper organization within the laboratory.
- Monitor laboratory consumables, chemicals, glassware, and spare part requirements.
- Support calibration and maintenance coordination for laboratory equipment.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow laboratory safety procedures and standard operating practices.
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and laboratory instruments.
- Adhere to company quality and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry
- Minimum 2 years of laboratory/testing experience preferred
Required Skills
- Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures
- Basic understanding of chemical analysis techniques
- Good documentation and reporting skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Laboratory safety awareness
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience in industrial, coating, chemical, or manufacturing laboratories preferred
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and testing equipment will be an added advantage
